OUR ORGANIZATION
We are a private school (preschool-middle school) in Leesburg, VA. Our instruction focuses on integrating the arts, academics, and experiential learning in a friendly and positive environment. While not a traditional Christian school, we are a Christian organization. Our beliefs inform our practices, policies, and overall school direction. We seek to have a meaningful educational, social/emotional, and spiritual influence on students, families, and our community.

JOB DESCRIPTION The secretary would play a vital part in our office team, acquiring an extensive knowledge of our school in order to assist school administrators, families, and students. The receptionist would be responsible for welcoming students and visitors, answering emails and telephone calls, assisting with ill or injured students, as well as identifying and solving problems as they occur in our dynamic office/school. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 1:00 pm. Opportunity exists for career growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES School Correspondence (email, phone).
Collect/Enter Attendance into our School Database.
Assist Event Planning and Execution.
Family Care (phone calls, customer service, scheduling, hospitality).
Interaction with Students (receiving sick children to the office, helping students to/from class).
DESIRED SKILLS Excellent Grammar and Writing Skills (detailed, grammatically correct, professional language).
Program Know-How (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, General Database).
Technologically Savvy (Knowledgeable with Apple products and quick to learn).
EDUCATION Bachelor’s (Preferred)
EXPERIENCE Office: 4 years (Preferred).
School (Preferred).

Job Type: Part-time, Monday – Friday
Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
School Year: 2024-2025
JOB DESCRIPTION The strings teacher will teach piano and guitar classes for students in 2nd through 8th grade. Hours are from 12:30 pm – 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday. If the candidate is interested in more hours, this position may be combined with another position in the school. A teacher’s license is preferred but not required if the candidate has equivalent experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES Plan and implement lessons following the Scope & Sequence
Adapt lessons for student differentiation.
Assess students’ strengths, weaknesses, and abilities.
Communicate with parents and administrators about student progress.
Plan and prepare student for our annual Tracks Recital.
DESIRED SKILLS Strong classroom management.
Effective teaching strategies.
Vast piano and guitar experience and knowledge.
