OUR ORGANIZATION

We are a private school (preschool-middle school) in Leesburg, VA. Our instruction focuses on integrating the arts, academics, and experiential learning in a friendly and positive environment. While not a traditional Christian school, we are a Christian organization. Our beliefs inform our practices, policies, and overall school direction. We seek to have a meaningful educational, social/emotional, and spiritual influence on students, families, and our community.
We have a wonderful team of educators who collaborate and support one another as they challenge and differentiate students through experiential and meaningful instruction. Our school integrates academics with the arts and hands-on learning. Students and staff alike are encouraged to implement the 4 C’s (Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, & Critical Thinking) into each school day.

Elementary Teachers

Job Type: Part-time, Monday – Friday
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
School Year: 2024-2025

JOB DESCRIPTION
The teacher in this position will teach language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 1:15 pm. If looking for more hours, this position could be combined with another position in the school. A teacher’s license is preferred, but not required if candidate has equivalent experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan and implement lessons following the Scope & Sequence. Adapt lessons for student differentiation. Assess students’ strengths, weaknesses, and abilities. Communicate with parents and administrators about student progress.

DESIRED SKILLS
Excellent grammar and writing skills (detailed, grammatically correct, professional language). Strong classroom management. Effective teaching strategies.

EDUCATION
Bachelor’s (Required)

EXPERIENCE

Morning Preschool Academic Teacher​

Job Type: Part-time, Monday – Friday
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
School Year: 2024-2025

JOB DESCRIPTION
The preschool academics teacher is responsible for providing engaging learning opportunities, as well as loving care to students. The preschool teacher will primarily teach introductory language arts (letter identification, sounds) and mathematics (number/shape recognition, counting). Curriculum would also include introductory science (weather, animals, life cycles) and social studies (community helpers, social skills). Hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 1:00 pm. If looking for more hours, this position could be combined with another position in the school. A degree in early education is preferred, but not required if candidate has equivalent experience.

Part and Full Time Teacher Assistants

Job Type: Part/Full-time, Monday – Friday
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

JOB DESCRIPTION
Teacher Assistant responsibilities include supporting the lead teacher, assisting with individual student needs, and light cleaning. Our school integrates academics with the arts and hands-on learning. Our school culture is one of kindness, respect, and friendliness. Hours are Monday-Friday and vary based on grade/program (8:00am-1:15pm, 8:30am-1:00pm). If seeking more hours, additional hours may be available in afternoon positions (12:00pm-4:00pm, 12:00pm-6:00pm.
