The school’s need-based financial aid policy is intended to provide a Christ-centered education to families with mission-appropriate children who would otherwise not be able to afford a Providence Academy education. In doing so, the school’s student body will also be broadened with a greater socioeconomic mix of well-qualified students.
Need-based financial assistance awards may be granted up to 65% of tuition. In rare and extenuating circumstances, that amount may be increased.
Any mission-appropriate child in Junior Kindergarten through 8th grade may be eligible for financial assistance and Providence Academy encourages all families to apply. Awards of financial aid are determined based on a family’s demonstrated ability to pay.
SSS, a national tool developed by NAIS provides the school with an independent, confidential assessment of a family’s ability to pay for educational expenses. Please note that SSS requires a copy of your tax return and other supporting documentation. Providence Academy relies on the SSS assessment, among other factors when determining financial aid awards to families.
Financial assistance decisions are made independently of admission decisions and do not affect a candidate’s chance for admission. Current families receiving financial assistance must reapply for need-based financial aid annually.
